South Africa See Off Swing To Back Barnstorming Bowling Performance In T20 World Cup Semi Final

South Africa see off swing to back barnstorming bowling performance in T20 World Cup semi-final

Proteas reach final after crucial win against West Indies

South Africa have reached the final of the T20 World Cup after a convincing semi-final victory over the West Indies in Abu Dhabi.

The Proteas bowlers were in devastating form as they restricted the West Indies to just 107 all out, before chasing down the target with ease to secure a nine-wicket victory.

Kagiso Rabada and Tabraiz Shamsi were the stars of the show with the ball, taking three wickets apiece. Rabada struck twice in his opening over to leave the West Indies reeling, while Shamsi picked up three wickets in the middle overs to stifle any hopes of a recovery.

In reply, South Africa made light work of the chase, with Quinton de Kock and Rassie van der Dussen putting on an opening partnership of 80. De Kock was eventually dismissed for 52, but van der Dussen went on to finish unbeaten on 55 as South Africa reached their target with more than five overs to spare.

The win means South Africa will now face England in the final of the T20 World Cup on Sunday. England defeated New Zealand in the other semi-final, and will be looking to win their second T20 World Cup title in three years.

Conclusion

South Africa's victory was a testament to their all-round strength. Their bowlers were exceptional, and their batters made light work of the chase. They will now be confident of beating England in the final and winning their first T20 World Cup title.
